I’m super excited to start the new year with a new collaboration with Johnstone Band.
Johnstone have asked me to compose a new work to celebrate the history of the band and their relationship with their heritage. My new work Black Cart Water explores the history of the river which runs through the centre of Johnstone.
Johnstone will record the piece for an upcoming brass band contest conducted by Mark Good.
