In addition to my work as a composer, I have considerable experience as copyist and have worked on a range of projects including contemporary classical music, western-art music, and traditional music.
I have had the pleasure of working closely with Nicholas Olsen as my copyist on many of my projects that require large scale orchestrations. Being a composer Nicholas is naturally able to deal quickly with any areas of the scores that need attention both musically and graphically prior to being printed. It is great to turn up on the first day of rehearsals with complete confidence that all parts and scores will be in fine order.

Nicholas Olsen is a first class musician and composer who is also an excellent copyist with an intimate knowledge of all the latest Sibelius and other notational software. I have worked closely with Nicholas during the past year on my new Viola Concerto for the Scottish Chamber Orchestra and he produced an excellent score and parts from my manuscript. I can recommend him wholeheartedly in this respect.
